i live in a small town...and this is not unusual...

I have lived here for 6 years and i am STILL not use to it when i see it!

But it was a nice surprise.

its the small things in life that i enjoy the most :-)

I have been training again for my THIRD competition...

it is in LESS than two weeks!!!

I have been doing workouts TWO times a day PLUS school, starting my new business, and trying to take care of everything else :-/

Over the past few weeks i have noticed quite a few bloggers sharing "random:" yet very interesting facts about themselves.

It has been in the back of my mind to do this for some time.
When I was planning on what to write today I finally remembered that I wanted to write this post! 

So...now i am! LoL

Here are some random (and hopefully not 2 weird) facts about me :-)

I bought my first car (all on my own and I got it brand new) in the summer of 2008…and in the next few months I will have it paid off!

My favorite "junk food" items (that i do not get to enjoy very often) Big Hunk Taffy and Big Red...two items not found very easily anywhere else other than Texas!

I am NOT an animal person! Just like with babies...its nice to play with your friends but when you get tired of them it is nice to give them back!

I played golf in undergrad for my Freshman and Sophomore year...then i got tired of it because it was not fun to compete at that level anymore

I am looking to start up my own health and fitness business this year!!

and there you have it!  Just a few things about me that most people probably would not know. I am a student, bikini competitor, and employee   i love to stay busy so i am excited to see what opportunities are opened up to me!

Happy Wednesday guys!

I hope that you all are having a productive week!
I feel like this week is going by SO SLOW!!!!

*sigh* 

Oh well...because in just a few days i will be leaving to go to Chicago to GO TO A LAKERS GAME!!!
I got some tickets for my birthday so i CAN NOT WAIT!!! :-)

The past few weeks have been MISERABLE at the gym!

My regular gym time is shown below...

We call theses people the New-Years Newbies

The gym is PACKED (as you can see EVERY machine is taken :-/)

But as the weeks go on the amount of people slowly start to trickle away

I am all for people getting health and getting fit...i just do not like having to rearrange my gym schedule!

But its OK! I actually enjoy my new time because now Mr. Awesome gets to come to the gym with me :-)

I am one of eight kids (only 6 of us in the pic)

I must say that i LOVE having a big family and hope that one day i will be able to have a handful of kids just like my parents did

For those of you who do not already know...i am somewhat of a shoe connoisseur! 

And Mr. Awesome is amazing for still hooking me up with shoes that i like :-)

He got me these for xmas! Was so excited because i have wanted a pair for some time now but never got any (because i recently started investing in MORE athletic shoes/clothes instead of stylish shoes/clothes)

and last but not least...the Love of my Life (other than Mr. Awesome)

She is my baby (my current pride and joy)

Got her brand new a few years ago (with only 7 miles on her!) 

and i have decided to spoil her recently (DELUXE car wash and soon to be detailed and deep cleaned plus window tenting!)

Been saving up for a while to do these things (because it was a luxury not a necessity so i saved like $20 a month and not it is time!)

Wednesday is here...you know what that means!?!?

NEXT Wednesday is my BIRTHDAY!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my bdays.

It is the ONE day a year that the world actually revolves around me!! LoL

But happy bday to all my fellow Sagittarius out there

I hope you have a bday filled with love and joy and hope that you were able to spend YOUR special day with your friends and family.

For turkey day Mr. Awesome came to visit me :-)

He was only here for a few days but i LOVED every second of it.

Also more good news...he has decided to MOVE to the Midwest to be with me after he graduates from college.  I am both excited and scared! Such a BIG step but we will see how things go

OK...i have to admit...i was blessed with some of the BEST friends a gal could ask for. 

I was have a HORRIBLE day and my best friend told me to get dressed and get ready she was gonna come pick me up...she took me to dinner and a concert. It was SO MUCH FUN!!

When life kicks you down turn to those closest to you for support and encouragement!

I know my friends have been SO inspiring and encouraging to me recently and i am so happy that i have them in my life!!

Since we have been some NICE and WARM  November and December days i have been taking advantage of that and running outside while we sill have the nice weather!

 

i have gotten the chance to train SO many clients over the past month! I have found a love for helping people reach their health and fitness goals.

WEDNESDAY!!!

I love YOU!!

LoL...yes it has been THAT KIND OF WEEK!!

*sigh*

well on a brighter note the weekend is ALMOST HERE!

i keep getting pics from the competition and i am just so happy that i did it!

It was A LOT harder than i ever thought it would be but it was well worth the journey.

I was able to learn so much more about myself and found ways to be HEALTHIER!

I can not wait to do my next competition after the start of the new year!

early AM classes just mean i have to tote ALL of my meals around for the day...LoL

At first the ppl that sat next to me would laugh...but they are pretty use to it by now

i am SO lucky to have the opportunity to be a fitness trainer on the side.  i LOVE being able to help people obtain their health and fitness goals.  My clients thought i was going to take it easy on them this week since i am done training for my competition...yea they HATED me after their sessions this week! They will thank me later...LoL

two words....MAGIC MIKE....

My life is NOW complete....LoL

Being able to see Channing Tatum dance...all i have to say is i wish he would jump out of a bday cake on my birthday this year!!!

and after THREE MONTHS of waiting i FINALLY had some REAL red velvet cake!!!

This delectable little treat has been TAUNTING me since i started training.  I did not have any really bad cravings except for....RED VELVET CAKE!! No worries...i was able to control myself and only have one... :-(

Happy Hump Day!!!

Today is Wednesday and today is the day i share with you the things that have been going on in my life for the past week!!

I VOTED!!! I got to do early voting this year. is your VOICE going to be heard?

the competition was a BLAST!

I had SO SO SO Much fun. i met some amazing people and i can not wait to compete again.

I for sure have binged on sugar and carbs but back to training today so back to my strict diet!

me and my gals all met at my FAVORITE place The Drunken Fish...sushi...martinin's...and of course dessert!!

For my competition...

I was in two different divisions

i got 4th place in one division and 5th place in the other division

it was an AMAZING experience   

I met some AMAZING people.  It was so empowering to be around people who have been working SO hard over the past few months.  no one was mean everyone was so up beat and helpful and i enjoyed every second of it! I wish i would have placed in the top 3 BUT with that being my first show i still have SO much to work on and SO much to change before next time. 

I had fun and i can not wait to do it again!

To be honest there were people of ALL ages competing 

The oldest....a 74 year old man with the body of a Greek god! LoL

I kid you not! the only thing that had aged was his hair but he looked amazing and was the life of the party! 

There were also a ton of moms who were in the figure division.

It was just so interesting to see so many different kinds of people that were there

Well i hope you guys are having a good week! 

I know i am a little less stressed out now not having to worry about this show anymore!

I probably wont do another show until early next year BUT i am going to start training NOW so i will be where i want to be! It is "off season" but there is still SO much work i need to do in the gym!
