Well another Hump Day is finally Upon us ladies and gents...
and i CAN NOT WAIT for this Friday to get here!
I have BIG BIG BIG plans for this upcoming weekend...
i can not tell you about them right now....
BUT please come back later for pics...and maybe even video footage...
I promise gals...it will put a smile on your face!

Well here is my weekly ramblings for your Hump Day entertainment :-)

sooo...i came to work on Monday...thinking it was just your average Monday
Despite TONS of issues with my project right now...i was for sure
feeling like i was having a typical no fun Monday...until i got this letter....

Due to my hard work with my research over the past year i got a raise!
OUT OF THE BLUE!

It made my heart drop. It just feels good to have your hard work noticed and appreciated. Not to mention this money will def help with some bills i am trying to get paid off (stupid student loans :-/ )

and yes...for those new followers out there i am a Model. and i am a model int he Midwest
I will say i have had some ups and downs (more ups than downs )and it has for sure been a HARD thing to get into! Modeling is so much harder than you think it is!! But on Monday... I got more good news...Ya girl got asked to walk in this falls Kansas City Fashion Week!!! HUNDREDS of girls auditioned and only the best were chosen...SUPER DUPER STOKED about the opportunity!

health and fitness still on track! My 6 pack is FINALLY peeping through not to mention my legs looks AH-MAZE-ZZZZING! So ready to sport my new bathing suite during the 4th of July!
(Pic is of my post workout meal...i have to work out late at night due to my hectic day schedule so i still gotta feed my belly so i am not starving when i wake up!)

this is a pre-photo shoot pic from this week! got my hair did (like my new hair style!? i am LOVING IT!)...my makeup did...and just gathering some last minute things getting ready for the mini shoot!

and even with a hectic schedule...i always try to put aside a little R&R time for me!
No phone...no work...just me enjoying ME time...got a fresh pedi and massage this week :-)

YES!!!

I made it to another Wednesday guys!

*starts fist pumping*

You know what that means? Tomorrow is Thursday...which Thursday is my "Friday" of the work week!

This week has been one CRAZY week and you have NO idea how excited i am to relax another weekend here at home and get some more things around mi casa done!

This is an AMAZING lunch i had earlier this week! Grilled asparagus with 1/2 Turkey wrap...so so so yummy

Last week we decided to have a BBQ at my girls house and guess what rode by blaring that annoying ice cream ring tone...THE ICE CREAM MAN!!

I don't care HOW OLD YOU ARE...whenever you hear or see the ice cream truck ride by the inner 3 year old comes out in ALL of us...as shown in this pic my roomie Erica was giggling like a school girl trying to figure out which Popsicle to get...

Ok...so i so not paint my nails very often...for the main reason being i am not patient enough to let them dry...and i always end up scraping them and getting them messed up...so yes i decided to try to paint my nails....and yes they ended up getting messed up :-/

i may decide to try again this weekend when i am not trying to do a million things while they are waiting to dry...*sigh*...they def look like my 3 year old niece painted them only after a hour of having them painted :-(

Digging Deep and getting in my late night work outs!

I am FINALLY starting to SLOWLY see the results i have been working for since February!

Yea we see all these magazines and ads with buff/slim/muscularly cut women running around...

Let me tell you first hand that it is HARD to get to that point!

I knew it was going to be hard but def not this hard...

FUNNY STORY ALERT: (well at least it was funny to me...LoL)

So i was doing my weekly grocery shopping...and i had a lady stop my basket...and grab the attention of ALL the people in a 20 foot radius and praise me for not having ANY junk food in my cart...and yes they all started clapping...LoL

The price of eating healthy...and yes i got contact info of some of the people that were there and i hope to help them start living healthier lifestyles :-)

And i just HAD to share this with you guys...this is speaking to me and my friends for sure!!

So this JERK FACE keeps parking in MY parking spot...
...he or she has done this three times in the last 2 weeks...so you see that nice BIG piece of paper in the windshield? That is a friendly note from Me informing them of what will happen the next time they park in MY spot...

Even though my Lakers lost ( *big fat tears and sad face*)
I am sporting my Vintage Lakers Shirt to still show my Lakers Pride!
No matter win or lose...I will still LOVE my Lakers :-)

the past 15 weeks i have been working 12+ hours a day...but i STILL manage to get my workout in at the end of my looooong work day.
I was determined to be bikini ready by the time summer got here!
Not to mention i wanted to try to get leaner and eat healthier...and so far i have been able to do that while gaining muscle mass...you can almost see my 6 pack yall!

Long distance relationship....*sigh*...
all i can say is that i am so so so grateful for a boyfriend that is very good at communicating and
who looks forward to video chatting with me almost every night.
He is so supportive of all of my aspirations and i appreciate all that he does for me...even though he is 1000 miles away

can you say girls night out!?!
These are one of few rounds of shots we got on our girls night out a few days ago
when i was in KC for some modeling stuff.
Ladies night is ALWAYS a good night!
And tequila is def my shot of choice!

So yea...this is what my life is like on a DULL week! LoL

If i could actually remember to take pics on a daily basis i would have a nice photo collage of all the things i happen to get into...oh well...happy hump day! :-)
