Well it has been a LOOOONG time since i have shared any modeling stuff with you guys!

For all of my new followers...

yup i am a model!

I do not want to pursue a career in it...but it is a lot of fun and i really enjoy getting to do it on the side

It is A LOT harder than i ever thought it would be

But i do love being in front of the camera and on the runway!

Here are some new images from a few recent shoots i did...

i have been busy with runway shows AND i got to be in a shoot for a jewelry catalog!!

So watch out!! You might start to see me someplace! :-)

These are just a few!!

I am working on putting together a website just for my modeling. so when i get that together i will be sure to share that with you guys!!

But yes please let me know what you guys think.

With each shoot i feel like i am growing more as a model and i learn more and more.

It is very evident by the pictures that i get back from photographers.

If any aspiring models have any questions please feel free to ask me!

I love being able to help and guide those who are wanting to pursue this as well.

Well...now that things at school have calmed down look what i have been doing :-)

We have been SO lucky to have some WARM weather in November and December which is AWESOME for a model (and the photographer)

Shooting in the cold is MISERABLE! LoL

It makes it hard because you can be FREEZING but you have to not show that you are freezing in your pictures :-/

Yea...try doing that in 15 degree weather (i did it last January)

But i had the pleasure of getting to work with

She is AMAZING to work with! and i would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who is looking for a photographer! Let her know i sent ya ;-)

HELLO my blogging pals!
Has it really been a whole week!?!

My life is in SUCH a whirlwind right now you have no idea!

Some days i make it home...and lay on my bed to relax and end up passing out for the night!!

I would like to share with you guys what i have been doing the past week...

Mr. Awesome came to see me!!!

Yes he came all the way from Texas for a whole week!
It was so nice to have him around the house. He helped me do a few things i have been putting off doing

(girls you know what i am talking about! All those "Man" things that you just don't make time for...LoL)

oh don't forget Fashion week practice AND a few modeling casting calls...

Yes..i ran myself into the ground this week with my modeling stuff! But it is over now for a few months! So now i can relax and patiently wait to get the images back from the photographers!

and last but not least....this is what i spent ALL of my free time doing this week...

STUDYING!

As some of you may know i was accepted into a pretty rigorous medical masters program. We get to take a few medical school classes with some other course work and let me tell ya...it has been a great eye opener to me! I had no idea how crazy and hectic medical school was and i half only HALF the load of the actual medical students.
I have my first test this week so i put everything else to the side (that included this blog...sorry guys! I will get better now that i FINALLY figured out how to post scheduled blog entries! :-))

so yea...that has been my life!

And of course when Mr. Awesome is here i try to stay off my blog/Internet since it can consume a lot of my time. We do not get to see each other very often so i try to make the time we are together all about Us :-)

I just walked out of my first exam!!! I am not sure how well i did...but i should know in a few days!

Well another Hump Day is finally Upon us ladies and gents...
and i CAN NOT WAIT for this Friday to get here!
I have BIG BIG BIG plans for this upcoming weekend...
i can not tell you about them right now....
BUT please come back later for pics...and maybe even video footage...

Well here is my weekly ramblings for your Hump Day entertainment :-)

sooo...i came to work on Monday...thinking it was just your average Monday
Despite TONS of issues with my project right now...i was for sure
feeling like i was having a typical no fun Monday...until i got this letter....

Due to my hard work with my research over the past year i got a raise!
OUT OF THE BLUE!

It made my heart drop. It just feels good to have your hard work noticed and appreciated. Not to mention this money will def help with some bills i am trying to get paid off (stupid student loans :-/ )

and yes...for those new followers out there i am a Model. and i am a model int he Midwest
I will say i have had some ups and downs (more ups than downs )and it has for sure been a HARD thing to get into! Modeling is so much harder than you think it is!! But on Monday... I got more good news...Ya girl got asked to walk in this falls Kansas City Fashion Week!!! HUNDREDS of girls auditioned and only the best were chosen...SUPER DUPER STOKED about the opportunity!

health and fitness still on track! My 6 pack is FINALLY peeping through not to mention my legs looks AH-MAZE-ZZZZING! So ready to sport my new bathing suite during the 4th of July!

and even with a hectic schedule...i always try to put aside a little R&R time for me!
No phone...no work...just me enjoying ME time...got a fresh pedi and massage this week :-)

So this JERK FACE keeps parking in MY parking spot...
...he or she has done this three times in the last 2 weeks...so you see that nice BIG piece of paper in the windshield? That is a friendly note from Me informing them of what will happen the next time they park in MY spot...

Even though my Lakers lost ( *big fat tears and sad face*)
I am sporting my Vintage Lakers Shirt to still show my Lakers Pride!
No matter win or lose...I will still LOVE my Lakers :-)

the past 15 weeks i have been working 12+ hours a day...but i STILL manage to get my workout in at the end of my looooong work day.
I was determined to be bikini ready by the time summer got here!
Not to mention i wanted to try to get leaner and eat healthier...and so far i have been able to do that while gaining muscle mass...you can almost see my 6 pack yall!

Long distance relationship....*sigh*...
all i can say is that i am so so so grateful for a boyfriend that is very good at communicating and
who looks forward to video chatting with me almost every night.
He is so supportive of all of my aspirations and i appreciate all that he does for me...even though he is 1000 miles away

can you say girls night out!?!

when i was in KC for some modeling stuff.
Ladies night is ALWAYS a good night!
And tequila is def my shot of choice!

So yea...this is what my life is like on a DULL week! LoL

If i could actually remember to take pics on a daily basis i would have a nice photo collage of all the things i happen to get into...oh well...happy hump day! :-)

howdy yall!

Well the past few weeks have been BUSY!!! So sorry for slacking on my blogging. I am in the midst of a busy fashion time so i have had quite a few shoots and shows... and since i have been so busy i decided i should share some photos with you guys!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know what you think! I like ANY and ALL comments (good and bad) i like to get feedback from other people than my close friends b/c they tell me i gr8 no matter what...LoL so here ya go...and let me know what you think!
