Hello my fellow bloggers!
We have made it to yet ANOTHER hump day! :-)
That means rejoice! the week is half way over and we are just a little closer to Friday
I know these past few weeks have been a whirl wind for me so i look forward to the weekends i get to stay at home and relax!
WARNING: This post may contain affectionate...sentimental...romantic...and other "mushy love" type of words/emotions from my recent trip to Texas. No worries i do not do this very often...BUT i felt that this post was needed just because i also wanted to share my happiness with you guys :-)
For my new followers out there i have a pretty awesome boyfriend (who currently lives in Texas and i live in Missouri :-( yea talk about LONG DISTANCE...thank goodness for video chatting! LoL)...
He is SO awesome that i gave him the nickname...Mr. Awesome (so original...LoL...i know!)
any wayz...a few weeks ago i made a surprise trip to go see him! His best friend helped me out and i planned out a weekend full of surprises for him. I flew all the way to Texas and spent a few days with him and it was amazing! I am so happy that i was able to keep it a secret because it is SO hard for me to keep things from him.
While in Texas Mr. Awesome did a gr8 job at showing me around his town...BUT you guys know i had to explore the local shopping! and he even went with me! He is the kinda guy that will carry my bags (and he will even carry my purse while i am piling stuff in my arms to try on...or while i am in the dressing room!) needless to say he is not much of a shopper (but lets be honest gals and say most guys really don't like to shop unless its at Best Buy or some other "man" store)...but he was able to tolerate my mini shopping trip...i guess he is a keeper! LoL
Mr. Awesome to the rescue! For those of you who do not know i am pretty health and fitness related. I am currently training for a bikini fitness contest that is in October...so my diet is pretty strict right now. Mr. Awesome knows how important eating right is so he made a pretty healthy meal for us...and i must say...he is pretty amazing on the grill! :-)
meanwhile...back in Missouri...
Like i said i am training for a bikini fitness competition so my veggie mix is a staple in my current diet and is one of my favorite side dishes to add to my grilled chicken or fish.
OK i know you guys probably don't want to see my gigantic feet...but i was relaxing while waiting for the fire works show on the 4th of July and i just LOVED how the light was hitting everything...it just seemed like a Kodak Moment for me...so i had to take a quick pic :-) Hope that all of you guys had an amazing 4th of July!
OK OK...Last Mr. Awesome pic for the day...and i am sorry that this post has a lot to do with him...BUT i just spent some time with him and i guess you can say that i am still gleaming for having such a gr8 trip...so of course i had to share....But this is the last thing i will share for the day! Mr. Awesome got me this amazing necklace as a "Just Because" gift. Funny thing is that he got it for me and was going to mail it to me (as a surprise) but since i went to Texas to surprise him he went ahead and gave it to me :-) He saw is and thought i would like it...and i sure did! LoL
So Mr. Awesome...this post is dedicated to you. You are truly Awesome and i am so happy i got to come surprise you and visit you and i cant wait to see you again!
