Today is Thursday!
...Ancient Greek ‘hemera Dios’ – day of Zeus
...Old English ‘thunresdæg’ – thunder’s day
...Latin ‘dies Jovis’- day of Jupiter
...good ole Fridays Eve!
But most importantly it is TIMEBOME Thursday!
For this weeks Timebomb I would like to bring back the good ole memories of having these...
Teddy Ruxpin
Mr. Teddy Ruxpin...my best friend for the first few years that i was learning how to read. This guy sung me to sleep many nights and read me bed time stories when my family members did not want to. I remember taking this guy with me EVERYWHERE and even remember getting mad when i could not take him to day care or church with me. So thank you Teddy Ruxpin for being my first official companion and friend!
The Skip It
This toy was created for kids who could not double dutch!!
LoL
I remember may recesses where we would have Skip it competitions. With the handy counter located on the side of the rotatory, this was a great toy that would allow us to have these kinds of competitions without anyone being able to cheat! The truth was there in the skip it! We would see who could go the fastest in a certain period of time...see who could run...do obstacle courses...or do any crazy ideas we could come up with! This is for sure a toy I remember using more than once!
Hope that these brought back some good memories of your childhood!
P.S. I am not on Instagram! So if you would like to follow me....click HERE :-)
I promise to try to post some great pictures...the small town i live is like living in the Bermuda triangle...LoL
